Recently I’ve made a tutorial on How To Direct Download Movies from the Internet. Now, If you’ve followed my tutorial, I bet you’ve finished download a movie. If you’ve noticed it, when you watch a movie, there’s no subtitle played along and make it hard for you to understand (maybe) :p So, in this tutorial, I’m going to share a way to watch your downloaded movies along with a subtitle. It’s super simple and easy.

What you need before you start

1. A subtitle file. You don’t need to write your own subtitle of course! There are always a ready-made subtitles available on the net,To have the subtitle file for your movie, you need to download it from the internet. A way to recognise a subtitle file is that it is always ended with *.srt at he back. For example, karatekid.srt is the subtitle file for Karate Kid movie.
2. Websites that supply subtitle files for you to be downloaded. I always prefer subscene.com but sometimes, if the movie I watched is not so popular or it’s an independent movie, there may be no subtitle available. So, I searched for alternatives. There are a few websites that give you download links for subtitle file.  There are OpenSubtitles , Subtitles.images.02.cz , Subtitle Database , DivX Subtitles , Subtitles Box and AnySubs . Feel free to choose your favourite from now on.
3. A video player that support subtitle to be play along with the movies. I always watch my movies through Gom Player which I found it very easy to use. It just detect the subtitle file and plays it along with the movie. If you want to watch using Windows Media Player, you need to install some codecs and plugins. So, I recommend you to use Gom Player. Easy! Download it HERE

Then how to play the subtitle?

1. Go to Subscene.com or any other suggested websites above and search for the movie that you want to download it’s subtitle file. In this tutorial, I’m going to use “The Losers” movie as an example. Refer to the pictures and click on them to enlarge.
2. Scroll down to the list of subtitles to the English subtitles section. There are several english subtitles for this movie. It is important for you to choose the right one so that it will synchronize with your movie. Before this at my recent post, I asked you to download DVDrip movies, so choose only subtitle that is tag with DVDRip. I choose the first top one.
3. Click on the subtitle you choose an a box will drop down below it with the download link. Click “Download Subtitle”.
4. Download the subtitle file and extract the file into the folder where your movie is placed.Make sure that the subtitle file is always in the same folder as your movie.
   
5. Notice that the name of the subtitle file is different from the real name of your movie.So, rename the name of the subtitle file to the exactly the same name as your movie.
6. Now you’re done! Play your movie through Gom Player and voila! There’s the subtitle along with the movie!

Tips

1. Use Winrar to extract *.zip or *.rar files. Download it HERE.
2. The subtitle file you’ve downloaded sometimes do not synchronize well with your movie, means that the subtitle shown is different to the dialogue speaked. If it happens to you, then try download other subtitle file there.
3. Rename the subtitle file EXACTLY the same with your movie’s name.
4. The subtitle file need to be always in the same folder as your movie.

Ramadhan - The Holy Month

I’ve been sooo busy, seldomly online. I mean, I can’t really go online much. But, I try to post something on my blog regularly, so, this entry is about the month of fast, the Ramadhan. Happy Ramadhan to all Muslim out there. I know, we have anticipate this month as this is the only month where we could find peace, to begin the journey of the soul to the real path of Islam. Pray that this blessed month brings divine blessings to all of us.

Nowadays,new terms are coined to describe Islam. Islamophobia, extremist and so on. Sometimes, the believing Muslims are described as radical Islamists. Often, our faith is linked with terror and we are accused of crimes that we ourselves discover when we open the front page of newspapers. Al Qaeda, Jemaah Islamiah, Taliban were labelled as ‘the terrorist’ even by our Malaysian local newspapers.

In times of difficulty, our only source of strength is our faith in the absolute power of Allah. So, Ramadhan is our opportunity to rebuild our faith. At Kyuem, the Musolla Commitee, known as Muscom is organising religious activities throughout this holy month. I respect the Muscom for they are being very active here even though it’s not in Ramadhan. Well,you can expect double activeness during Ramadhan

One of the Muscom activities are the MYC – Muslim Youth Camp, which will start this evening for 3d2n at Ulu Bernam. Nearly 80 students are going to participate in this camp to show our support. So, I would not be around college for this weekend.wohoo, I can escape this jungle for a while.At least, to another jungle of Hulu Bernam -.-”

So, things to do during ramadhan? I’ll list some of them that you wouldn’t dare to miss. It’s a Pahala SALE. go grab it fast!

1. Go to the mosque as often as possible. I would say that mosques are the most peaceful place in the world, even in KYUEM, i found that Suaru As Saad is the bestest place to be. You feel like so peace and harmony.
2. Try to break your fast with fellow Muslims in the mosques. At Kyuem, some of us go to the mosque first, eat some dates and kuihs, then go to pray maghrib before going to the Dining Hall for proper meal. That bonded us together as fellow muslims.

3. Pool our efforts and resources to feeding the poor. This is the best time to practice generosity. Allah would definitely double/triple the pahala you gotbe extra-generous and donate our money to worthy causes.
4. At least try to completely finish reading the Quran. In Kyuem, there are usrah teams that have different assignments to finish particular juzu’ in the Quran by Tadarrus.
5. Ensure that we mend our relations with everyone regardless of the mistakes on the part of others. Be fogiving, don’t practice revenge. Control your anger in all situations and you should be fine.
6. Spend some time in seclusion at night praying to the Almighty. Just a 2 rakaat of Tahajjud before Subuh prayer would make a huge different.
7. Be the better person. What I mean is that to respect the Ramadhan. I found that in Kyuem, some of the muslim girls don’t even respect this holy month. At least,if you don’t want to wear tudung, don’t wear sexy clothes. That was so rude to wear tights or see through shirts during the Ramadhan. Some of the boys and even girls still wearing shorts. Sigh, change people change!

Special thanks Muscom for being active during Ramadhan. They even organise our own Kyuem Bazaar, Talk on Mavi Marmara, Khatam Quran and so on. That’s so cool. Okay, I need to pack for MYC now, till then

Hectic. Phew, what a busy induction week here in Kyuem. Somehow, this is the bestest induction week ever with all the cool activities which includes the team building activities, morning exercises, talks, interhouse games, treasure hunt, and the legendary Samurai – thanks to our seniors! You are all fantastic man! If I have enough time later, I’ll write the A-Z of the induction week of what we’ve done, except for the Samurai of course. I wouldn’t leak the Kyuem biggest well kept secret.lol. We’re now officially Kyuemian Samurais. wohoo!

Kyuem Chalets ( Ade aircond kot :p )

Okay, It has been a long time since last update, more than 2 weeks ago isn’t it? Magically, this blog mantained it’s alexa rank which is 1,057,026 .  Last time it’s in the range of 1 million too. I created this blog on 1st July and it’s alexa rise from 13 million to 1 million in 15 days Blame my visitors being such a great supporters. Even though I can’t go online much but I don’t forget you all blogger mates I would still go forblog walking if I have time after this. Kyuem wifi at our chalets (did i tell you we live in chalets? Chalet batu la,hehe ) sucks but at IT lab, the connection is superb. So, I’ll hangout at It lab to update my blog after this.

Big Mac anyone?

What happened to me for the last 2 weeks? After my last update, I went to Kuala Lumpur and stay at Intec,Shah Alam for 3 nights, Shamsian batch spm 2009 who are studying at Intec had a wonderfulgathering at Mc Donalds, Shah Alam on my first night there. conjunctively, the night happened to be my friend, Dibah’s night-before-birthday too.There were about 16 of us. Farah Nur Ziha, thanks for sparking the idea of the gathering or it wouldn’t happen.

Malakat 92 Gathering

I jumped the highest! wohoo!

The next day, I went for another gathering with my Malakat92 community friends, They are my internet friends which I never meet before but we’ve known each other since I was 15. After all the years of sociaizing online, we finally meet and I found that there’s no awkwardness in us. Although it’s only 20+ members attended this event as some of them couldn’t make it for some reasons, the gathering can be describe as a success.

Although it’s our first, we felt like we’ve known each other for the whole life.We joked,we laughed and we aimlessly go round and round the KLCC just to talk borak-borak. Hanging out at the garden,in front of the fountain, fantastic day! You know that it was awesome to talk for like 8 hours with peoples that you’ve just meet. Thanks guys. I’m looking forward for our next activity – Buka Puasa with Malakatian, wohoo!

[18th July]

Sale at Sogo

On the 18th, I spent the whole day shopping and hanging out with my 2 friends. First, we went to Times Square for a Twilight which was merely about Bella-Kissing-Edward-Jacob-Jealous. Phew. Fortunately, it’s better compare to the it’s second movie. Then we wander around Times Square for a while, do a little bit shopping till 3 p.m.

Next we went to Lowyat Plaza, spent 2 hours being a new-handphone search party as my friends want to buy new phones for each. One of them ended up buying a Nokia 5800 xpress music and another one is the new SE Hazel. Me? Just stick with the screen-cracked 5310 untill it eventually can’t be use T.T

Then at 6 p.m, we went to Sogo and do more shopping on branded shirts and pants. It’s SALE time dude, 70% less, you wouldn’t want to miss it. They got JEEPS and POLO and stuffs. For dinner, I  had a sizzling mee for dinner at the food court in a very tense mood as ade orang merajuk pulak dah. sigh. At 9 p.m we take a KTM back to Intec. What a memorable day.

[19th July]

Mandi rice with chicken and lamb

The most boring day of all, spent all day till 4 p.m in my friend’s house at Intec doing nothing but sleeping, reading, sleeping again as they all went for classes.

At 5.30 p.m my parents arrived at KL from Terengganu so, I have to move to the hotel where they’re staying. So, after saying goodbyes, I take a KTM to Kl Central and then take a monorail to Vistana Hotel.

That night we went for dinner at Ar Rawsha Restaurant for an Arab cuisine. My family is like bonded into arab food. My favourite is Lamb Mandi Rice. Excellently cooked, finger licking good.

[20th-27th July]

Registration day

Nervously registered at Kolej Yayasan UEM but then I gone through it’s awesome induction week. Now I felt like I’m a part of Kyuem’s family. I will write on this induction week later but it’s cool.

[28th- 30th July]

Class started.No!!! Is it the time to defrost my brain? I felt like I’m not ready yet but I have to endure this. I took 3 A2 Subjects which is Maths, Physics, Economics and 1 As subject that is Psychology.The first classes are the introduction to the subjects and HOMEWORKS. Even on my first class of Economics, Puan Jas asked us to make an essay.phew.

Karaoke on the way to Mid Valley

Went to Mid Valley on the very first trip organised by the student council. Here, every week, usually there’ll be a trip to Mid Valley alternately change with a trip to Tanjung Malim’s night market. On the other word, every long weekend, we’ll go to Mid Valley and every short weekend, we’ll go to Tanjung Malim’s night market. They are the only two places to escape this Kyuem Jungle.

I spent most of the day with Keri, as we went to Sogo for some Baju Raya Shopping. (early huh? well, it’s SALE time.hahaha) I also bought a new Wild Chanel bag to use for classes at Kyuem. When it’s time to go back to Kyuem at 6 p.m There are about 6 plastics of goods I hold. For a declaration, Im not a shopaholic that much. It only happens once a year during SALE time :p

[1st August]

My room in Chalet P14

Long weekend at Kyuem is like living in a deserted place. Most of the students go back home leaving the Kelantanese, Orang Ganu, Sarawakian and Sabahans all alone. So, it’s time for not speaking english, we speaked only Kelantanese and Ganu. hahaha.

I spent my day cleaning up my room, tidying it up a little bit for my comfort. Then we lepak-lepak, do some homeworks and that ends our day. It’s time for classes back on moday and we should be prepare.

Sorry guys! For this coming week,I couldn’t do blogwalking much or even update my blog. I will be on my way to Kolej Yayasan UEM for my 2 years A Levels programme before flying off to UK,InsyAllah. (Blogger mates, pray for me that this will happen okay? :p )

At last, after leaving my brain frozen for at least 7 months as I’m not doing anything starting from last year SPM, finally I’m enrolling into a college! Now, I could defrost my brain so it will start to work normal again. I can sense the feeling of my brain cells which are not functioning well lately. Maybe I should drink some Nespray with DHA and Omega 3. Or maybe Anmum? whatever.

Tomorrow morning, InsyAllah I will be on my way alone to Kuala Lumpur, leaving this memory-packed land of Terengganu. The only Terengganu – where natures embrace heritage. My parents will join me this monday as the registration will be next week on Tuesday

The reason behind my early leave is that I’m having a gathering on Saturday – meeting internet friends which I never meet before, at least in the world of reality. We have only met on the Makat92 Forum – An Internet forum community specially made for 1992-born people There are 22 confirmed attendance and 72 more that maybe attending according to our facebook event. Meet you guys at KLCC this Saturday okay.

For now,I have done with all the packing so my parents will only have to transfer all my things into the car, drive on the 5 hours roadtrip to join me this Monday.In the meanwhile, I will be staying at INTEC, Shah Alam, smuggling myself into a friend’s apartment for 3 days- Illegally. HAHAHA (evil laugh!)

Erk, so many things to settle now, enough for this post, I want to continue packing, and settle the forms, so that when I leave for KL tomorrow, I will leave in peace :p

The 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa just ended it’s 31 days of glories,victories but most of it is frustrations. Every team targetting to raise the solid 18-carat gold trophy but only the lucky Spain did it. So for the others it just the frustrations.

Despite the excitement of the matches held in South Africa, I was interested in the presentation of the World Cup itself. Giant events such as the Olympics,Euro,Asian Sport would have their own presentation to amaze the world and the Fifa World Cup is not an exception.

I marveled their presentations including the logo, the opening ceremony, the night-before-world-cup Concert and everything. We get to know South Africa to it’s heart and that is a chance not to be missed. In this entry, I want to emphasise on the logos of the previous and upcoming World Cups including the Brazil 2014, which attracted me a lot, the designs and arts that laid in just one logo could translate everything. Enough blabbering, now we go to the main idea of this entry, to bring back the world cup logos from 2002 untill the next 2014,in Brazil

Winner : Brazil

This Logo look firm and strong as the circle is supported from the inside. Simple yet shined the identity of the hosts, Korea and Japan through it’s colours and shapes. I love the font used to write the word Korea Japan.

Host       : Germany

Winner   : Italy

I love this logo most. Somehow it showed happiness through the smilies.All the funs and excitement of the world cup hid in this logo. With the stripes of the German official colours, this logo revealed the host’s identity.

2010 Fifa World Cup Logo – South Africa

Host       : South Africa

Winner   : Spain

Actually,I don’t really like the typical boxed design as it  doesn’t really give the freedom to the logo. Still, thisis logo is beautiful.With a black people kicking the football showing the ethnicity of South Africa. yet, A lot of people complaints the man in the logo is like starving with his thin figure so it may be a sensitive issue.

2014 Fifa World Cup Logo – Brazil

Host        : Brazil

Winner    : We will see, I hope it’s my Argentine :p

The idea behind this logo seemed to come from the world cup trophy itself. The shape obviously look like it. The colours fit with Brazil identiy and the hands grabbing the cup maybe means that Brazil really want to win this event for the 6th time. yet, It’s simple, and enough to amazed me. Simplicity is my taste. Simply Siti too :p

I’ve nothing much to do this morning,so after fixing a leaked faucet at home, I turned on my PC and as usual, click on the Firefox browser to start surfing the net. suddenly something popped into my mind and I asked myself, do firefox really exist? I mean, I’ve surfing all my life using this browser and yet, how silly I am for not ever wonder about this.

So, I begin googling the terms ” firefox in real life ” , ” the real firefox ” , and ” animal firefox “. I use Google Image and shocked to find the first picture appeared. It’s the real firefox! In real life! I never thought that this thing really exist.
So, I guessed I would be so mean for not to share this with you. Enjoy these pictures of the real firefox!

This is my first tutorial since I started this blog on 1st July.

I have downloaded a large amount of movies since I’m 16. Well, It has been 2 years now. Most of my 320Gb external hardisk was stuffed with movies,resulting me being a target at my previous school for my hardisk to be borrowed – frequently. Sigh.

Some asked me questions like, ” how did you download all these movies?” or ” Where did you download movies huh?” or ” Guane gop mu download movies2 ea.Ajor gop aku” or “!£$%^&*!!!?” or whatever it is,the point is that most of my friends didn’t really know how to download movies.

I had tought them the way but the questions still being asked till now and maybe it’ll be last for eternity. So I’ve decided to post it on my blog so if they ever ask me again, my answer will be “go to my blog” .Well,It’s more simple though.

p/s – I’m not a torrent user,so I always download movies using the direct download method,it’s cleaner and more secured.

Here is how it’s done :

What you’ll need before you start.

• Internet Download Manager – Increase your download speed and recover broken downloads.Download and it HERE and install to your computer.Make sure that it integrates with your internet browser. To do this, go to Options and check the box beside the “Use advanced browser integration” and restart your computer. I recommend that you use Firefox. Internet Explorer is for losers :p
• OneClickMoviez.com – A website that supply download links for the movies.If you know other great website,please share.For the time being,I’m using this website,it’s always updated with latest movies. Go to the website HERE.

What’s next?

1. Go to OneClickMoviez.com. Ignore all the popups and annoying advertisements.They rely on that to keep the website alive
2. Search and choose the movies that you want to download. Make sure that the movie is tagged with DVDRip at the end of the title. It means that the quality of the movie you’ll download later is the same with the original retail DVD found at DVD shops. For this tutorial, I choose the latest movie available right now the Karate Kid.
3. Now you’ll see the poster and links. The first three links are informations on the movie including sypnosis and reviews. I prefer IMDB reviews. The next links are the download links provided.You are free to choose any links but I highly recommend you to choose Youload/duckload links. If there’s no Youload/duckload link there. Choose Megaupload. For this movie, there’s no Youload link so I’ll choose megaupload link.
4. Click on the Megaupload link and a new window will be opened.Wait for 5 seconds and click “Download“. This will then direct you to Linkbucks page. If you notice it, there’s a ” skip this page ” button at the top right of the window.Click it. Now it will direct you to Megaupload site. These are what I told you about the annoying advertisements earlier,get used with them.
5. In Megaupload page, check the file size of the movie you’ll download. If it arounds 700mb-900mb then it’s perfect.
6. Enter the code at the top right of the page and click “Download File” and wait for 45 seconds.
7. A “Regular User” button will appear after the 45 seconds and click the button.
8. An Internet Download Manager window appeared and click download.
9. Voila! your movie is now downloading! Congratulations.

Tips

1. Youload/Duckload and Megaupload links give you the fastest internet download speed. I’m using 1Mbps streamyx package and for the everage, my speed ranged from 150 kbps – 200 kbps. I takes an hour and half to download a movie.well,it depends on your internet connection. I’m not MMU student who download a movie for 5 minutes at the rate of 10 Mbps -.-”
2. Youload/Duckload are better then Megaupload because it can resume your download if you feel like to pause the download or to shutdown your computer.Megaupload don’t but still it’s the best alternative to Youload/Megaupload.
3. Download using youload is even simple, you’ll just wait for 10 seconds,enter the code and click “Download Starten” (it’s in German,dude!)
4. Always download a DVDRip movies or at least R5 line as the quality will satisfy you enough. Never download a CAM,TS,DVDR,or DVDscr .The quality of the movie dont worth your time for a download. I’ll make an article regarding the movie quality and their tags later on.
5. You can watch the movie with an english subtitle if you know how to do it. You’ll just need to download a subtitle file. Again, I’ll make an article on it later.
6. Take a look at the name of every movie, for example, The Spy Next Door [2010] DvDrip-aXXo. The Spy Next Door is the name of the movie, [2010] told you the year the movie is in the cenima. DVDRip shows you the movie quality and aXXo at the end told you who’s the uploader. There are a lot of movie uploader on the net such as NoScene,Diamond,VoMit. Yet, aXXo is the best.aXXo is the most famous movie uploader on the net. He’s popular but no one ever know who he is. aXXo, if you read this i want you to know that i’m your fan

Ever heard the name? If you don’t like to read novels, I’ll bet you haven’t. Yes I read novels, and Sidney Sheldon’s novels are my favourite. Sidney Sheldon is a novelist, an author of the famous 18 novels which hit the worldwide as blockbusters. He was well recognised globally as an author who will make his readers to stay up at night just to finish his extremely heartbeat-skipped novels – the master storyteller.

It’s my mom that first introduced me to this author and since that, I’ve been reading his novels untill now. My mom marveled Sidney Sheldon a lot, so there’s a large collection of his novels at home. Easy! When I want to read, I look at the book rack, and pick a Sheldon’s novel,then read it to the very last page. Well, I’m not that kind of a bookworm that spend most of my time to read. When I feel like to read,that’s is when I read. It depends on my mood,so it takes me time to read another novel after I’ve finished one but then,There’s only 4 more left to read and I don’t quite sure when I would finish all his novels. When the mood come, I read and when I read, I would do nothing else but to finish the novel.

Sidney Sheldon’s first novel is The Naked Face – earned him the award of America’s best first mystery novel and then it was adapted as a movie. His next novel, The Other Side Of Midnight was at the top list of The New York Time bestseller and followed by his next novels. Most of his novels hit the top – made him a famous author.

He’s a feminist,means that most of his novel’s main characters are women. He showed that women have determination,power and strong. He had raised the women to the top and inspired a lot of female readers worldwide. Still,the genre of his book is mystery and thriller, so his novel is unisex. There’s only two novels (which I’ve read) that men lead as the main characters- The Doomsday Conspiracy, and The Naked Face. For the rest, there’s none.

The only thing I don’t really like about his novels is that he put on some sexual scenes which made some of the female characters seemed to be like whores. The Other Side Of Midnight featuring Noelle Page as the main character and she use her sensual appearance as a weapon to take down men and controlling them. Strictly not for kids :p The Sky Is Falling is his only novel (as far as I read) that doesn’t involve any sexual scene. The novel is about a Dana Evans who became a journalist in Sarajevo when it is in the middle of War in Bosnia and Herzegovina came back to America just to found her in the middle of series of brutal murders.

Sidney Sheldon’s trademark is the twisting of characteristic of his characters at the end, If you belive that a character is the murderer, the don’t! It’s someone else, the character will be twisted. The other thing great about his novel were the settings which involved of a lot of countries and cities around the world. You can find as much of 7 different country setting in one novel. From Chicago to London, Paris, Rome Athens, Los Angeles, Paris, and even South Africa it’s all in his novel.

Yes, I vote for Germany. And a friend said, ” What the hell happened to you? Germany slaughtered your Argentina 4-0 and you’re now on their side?” and I said, ” This is not EPL, it is World Cup dude, if you don’t have a team to support, then there’ll be no excitement.You can’t feel the World Cup atmosphere anymore”.

My team was Argentina but now they have gone. Messi’s gone,Maradona’s gone.  I felt sorry for them both. The world’s best football player, Messi ended this World Cup messed enough for not being able to score a goal and for Maradona, the most controversial coach, his dream was crushed-badly. Well, I’ve no doubt Maradona’s the best football player all time.

If you noticed the picture on my twitter widget at the sidebar, I even bought the official Argentina’s World Cup jersey and I’ve support them from the beginning to their very end. Argentina’s my favourite since I was 10 in the Korea-Japan World Cup in 2002. That’s only because of Gabriel Omar Batistuta, the Argentinian player who’ve made Argentina qualify for the 2002 World Cup. Yet, Argentina didn’t even make it to the knockout round. Sigh.

Enough on Argentina, now it’s Germany, for the sake of their great gameplay throughout this World Cup. Even though they’ve beat Argentina 4-0 but they deserved it. They’ve played the football like a football should be played with a good teamwork and quick actions. They made the game very enjoyable. Just look at when they beat England for 4-1. Look at how quick they go counter attacks and how well they handle the ball. It’s Deutch time.

Still, Argentina will be my team for the next 4 years, and next 8 years and the next 16 years to the infinity, and beyond!! (sorry,I just watched the Toy Story :p )

For tonight, I’ll bet it’s 3-1 for Germany.
